Can I get a quote by sending an X-ray, without making a visit?
It is not possible to draw up a correct treatment plan and therefore a cost estimate without first carrying out a clinical examination, i.e. a visit. Book an appointment, a careful visit will be carried out and you will have a detailed treatment plan and a quote, which you can decide whether to accept or not.
What’s the cost of a dental visit? May I pay with a credit card?
In our clinic dental visits are free. After the visit, a treatment plan and a cost estimate will be shown off, so you can decide whether to accept or not. You can pay with both cash or credit card.
How long does it take for dental implants surgery?
It usually takes 30-60 minutes to insert dental implants, depending on the position and number of implants to be treated.
Can I do dental hygiene during pregnancy?
Dental hygiene does not require the use of anesthetics and can be safely performed during pregnancy. Furthermore, dental hygiene sessions help prevent pregnancy gingivitis which occurs due to hormonal changes.
I have had a toothache for a few days, and they are also sensitive to cold and heat. What could it be?

Is it safe to have a dental visit or treatment during this Covid-19 pandemic?
Absolutely yes. Our office and all its rooms are sanitized several times a day and after each visit with our patients. Access to our clinic is allowed only by wearing a mask, temperature measurement and after completing the triage form, according to the prevention measures.
Within the Studio, social distancing is practiced and hand sanitizers are available everywhere in the rooms Furthermore, we schedule appointments with our patients, in order to avoid or minimize the waiting in the waiting room.
Instruments and equipment used during treatments and therapies, regardless of the risk of a pandemic, in addition to a matter of general hygiene and safety, when they are not disposable, are always sterilized, and packaged in order to preserve their sterility, as required by current health legislation to avoid the risk of cross infection.

Is your dental clinic wheelchair accessible?
Yes, there aren’t architectural barriers in our clinic. We are on the ground floor and immediately after the entrance door there is an elevator to get over a short staircase.
Do you provide ortho-panoramic radiography services at your clinic?
At our clinic we only take intraoral radiographs for diagnostic purposes, but we have agreements with several diagnostic and radiology clinics that we recommend to our patients, and which send results of our customers' radiological or resonance examinations directly by email.

ORTHODONTICS FOR KIDS AND ADULTS FAQs

What is the right age for my child's first orthodontic visit?
At the complete eruption of the milk teeth and before the exchange, an early orthodontic evaluation can already be done.
What is the best orthodontic treatment?
There is no better orthodontic treatment than another. Each orthodontic treatment is designed to solve a specific problem for a specific person.
What is the right age to start orthodontic therapy?
For children, usually around age 5, with complete eruption of baby teeth and before commuting. There is no age limit for adults.
How do I know if I can use invisible orthodontics?
By booking an orthodontic visit you will know if invisible orthodontics can solve your problem.
Is invisible orthodontics always effective?
Some types of malocclusions cannot be treated with invisible orthodontics, and in those cases it is necessary to resort to traditional orthodontics.

RESTORATIVE AND ENDODONTICS FAQs

What is an endodontic therapy?
Endodontic therapy, better known as root canal treatment or devitalization, serves to eliminate the dental nerve when the caries has reached the dental pulp causing pulpitis or pulp necrosis causing a dental abscess.
How long does a composite restoration last?
By respecting periodic checks, dental hygiene sessions and home dental hygiene procedures, a composite reconstruction can last up to 10 years.
How much time must pass before I can chew after having a dental filling?
With composite restorations you can chew immediately, there is no need to wait.
Why do some teeth need root canal therapy?
When the caries reach dental pulp, this becomes inflamed causing a pulpitis that causes severe pain. Pulpitis is irreversible and irreversibly leads to the death of the nerve and dental pulp, later causing an abscess.
Why does a devitalized tooth hurt again?
The reasons may be different, a very old endodontic therapy that has now lost its seal, or poorly performed endodontic therapies. When the tooth has been devitalized, but without a prosthetic crown, it can fracture causing pain or it can have lost the coronal seal and cause an abscess.

What is a dental implant?

What is the difference between fixed and removable dental prosthetics?
The term fixed prosthesis refers to a fixed dental crown or bridge and therefore non-removable dental prosthetics. The term mobile prosthetics refers to a removable dental prosthetics such as a denture.
How long can be a dental implants surgery?
It usually takes 30-60 minutes to insert dental implants, depending on the position and number of implants to be treated.
Is dental implant surgery painful? Will I feel pain after implant surgery?
No, as it is performed under local anesthesia. The discomfort will be minimal. An appropriate post-surgical pharmaceutical protocol will be prescribed to minimize pain and swelling.
My removable prosthesis isn't stable anymore and I can no longer chew or speak, what can I do?
If your mobile prosthesis does not have the necessary stability, it is necessary to evaluate its remaking or relining.

FAMILY DENTISTRY AND ORAL CARE FAQs

My incisor is chipped, is it possible to reconstruct the missing part?
In most cases it is possible to carry out an aesthetic reconstruction of the incisors with composites, materials that are very similar to dental tissue in terms of hardness, translucency and color.
Can I do dental hygiene during pregnancy?
Dental hygiene does not require the use of anesthetics and can be safely performed during pregnancy. Furthermore, dental hygiene sessions help prevent pregnancy gingivitis which occurs due to hormonal changes.
What can I do if my child is afraid of the dentist?
First of all, the cause of his fear must be assessed, if it depends on negative experiences, if it is fear of the unknown or if the fear is unknowingly transmitted by parents, other family members or friends.

What is the right age for the child's first dental visit?

ANTI-AGING FILLERS FAQs

Is the infiltration of hyaluronic acid-based anti-aging fillers painful?
The anti-aging treatments are performed with topical anesthesia which reduces the discomfort of infiltration. Since the pain threshold is subjective, a slight pain can still be perceived, mostly bearable.
Can anti-aging treatments with hyaluronic acid fillers be done during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the infiltration of hyaluronic acid is not recommended.
Are there any contraindications or side effects following the infiltration of hyaluronic acid-based anti-aging fillers?
Hyaluronic acid, like any drug and medical device, is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the filler. It is also contraindicated in case of pregnancy and lactation, in case of dermatitis, herpes and autoimmune diseases.

Following the infiltration of anti-aging fillers, slight swelling, redness or small bruises may occur in the injection area, which will tend to disappear in a few days.

Do I need to take special precautions after the infiltration of hyaluronic acid-based anti-aging fillers?
After the infiltration of the hyaluronic acid-based anti-aging filler, you can immediately return to work and social life, but with some care: it is not recommended to play sports, as well as exposure to the sun or tanning lamps for the next 48 hours.
How much does an anti-aging treatment with hyaluronic acid fillers cost?
